By the corner you can see the base of that high-rise you had seen earlier.
There's this brick building on the right and it's tall.
This other guy has a, what I think its not a big of a base based on the design of the levels - to the total height of the building.

I think this is possible due to the use of different materials.
Steels with higher strength (add to a few other properties based on the overall structure behavior & response) - as well as the use of glass for the building outer shell (versus the height limiting Brick) or the wide-manageable concrete (as it seems for the tall building / highrise in the background).
