Ben's Story.

About Ben...

Kid is 9yrs old.
Is in a smoke shop with his dad /assumption
and the shop guy.

He is talking about THC and Cannabinoids.
What does he know?
What is he trying to figure out?

About intake?
About use?
About effects?

What is weed?

A plant.
So, what chemical components you think it is made of?
Plenty, he may have said.

So we take a trip and talk about the Periodic Table...
How many chemicals compose this universe?
He thinks over 300.

Well it is organic.
It is alive.
So, Carbons, maybe?

Then he goes to say, he thinks its acid.

I tell him, I'm not sure... but I know, that

SO4, is like Sulfuric Acid (or I messed up somewhere on the nomenclature)
And I believe that for most acid things, they have oxygen added to them.
Except within chemicals, or elements, as Oxygen, and Carbons, they have multiple types.

Like, what they can have extra or less electrons.
So, you could have a different type of combination of Sulfur (S) with Oxygen (O)... and that would then indicate the acidity or how basic a chemical is.

So what does it matter if it is acid, or base?

Then he suggests, that it may be acid, because in the stomach most things are acid.
And I'm like, so no bases, so you'd just feel sick from it?
No bases?

We stop.
Then, I figure, I ask him about methods of ingestion.
Eatables, vaporizing, smoking, shooting.

His father seems concerned,
Yet Ben wants to talk.
He thinks about that stuff.

He goes on to say,
That if its injected its probably last longer,
Because it must be more than if a person was just inhaling it.

True.
I think.


Then we go back to the basic question?
Why do you think peole take it?
Just coz its a psychoactive?

Don't you think it could have effects on your body?
Yeah, probably.

So... there's visual and there's visible effects.
How about the users?
How are they on the reg?
